Cutting Costs, Finding Cheap Home Phone Services Thru VOIP (Part 1) There are many individuals trying to cut costs and expenses in today’s economy, one way to do this is by lowering the cost of your existing bills. If you are looking to lower your expenses, then finding cheap phone services should be on your list. With the internet, finding cheap phone services for your home will not be hard. One of the major ways individuals are cutting costs and lowering their expenses and finding cheap phone services, is by using a service known as VOIP, which means Voice over internet protocol. I find the down fall with the Skype service is, if you are calling a land line or a non Skype users there will be extra charges involved, But their cost are very reasonable. The next is Vonage, you may have seen many of their TV commercials, they show how they’ve saved individuals on their home phone service and encourage them to abandon their land lines. Like Skype they offer a much lower rate than your local carriers would. Their billing though is much like that of cell phones, their lowest plans give you a certain amount of minutes to use before they charge you a penalty. Since Vonage uses a regular home phone, you won’t have the ability of video calls with your loved ones. The third is GlobaLinx. Their service is superior to the rest because it offers the benefits of the others, video calling, computer or smartphone access, and low cost calling around the world for one fee. So where the others lack this one picks up. Their plans are simple to understand and follow, to date they only have two rate plans one allows you to call anywhere in U.S. And Canada for free, and anywhere to another GlobaLinx customer, the other plan allows you to call 75 additional countries within the service plan. Out of the three GlobaLinx is the stronger VOIP candidate, for price, and options.
